Oklahoma Man Admits to Beheading a Co-Worker, Judge Puts off Decision Until August

A murder suspect waits to find out if his guilty plea will be accepted.

    FOX’s Chris Foster reports:

Alton Nolen admits to killing a co-worker in Oklahoma two years ago, cutting off Colleen Hufford’s head and stabbing another person at the Vaughn Foods plant where he’d just been suspended from his job.

He wants to plead guilty to first-degree murder, but that could come with the death penalty. And the judge is putting off her decision until August whether to accept that plea.

She asked Nolen several times whether he understood the charges, and he said several times he’s guilty.
