Presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump edges out Hillary Clinton in the race for the White House, according to a new FOX News Poll that also shows them as flawed candidates, according to voters.
FOX’s Gurnal Scott reports:
The latest FOX poll shows presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump with a three-point lead over likely Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, 45 percent to 42 percent. That’s a complete reversal from last month when Clinton led Trump by seven points.
The poll shows both candidates having strong pockets of support: Trump with whites and men; Clinton with women and African Americans, but both candidates also have high negatives among many voters and this poll shows Clinton’s unfavorability numbers rising, while Trump’s are falling.
Incidentally, the new poll shows Trump trailing Bernie Sanders head-to-head 46-42 percent.
