Burger King Goes Upscale in Finland – Have it Their Way!

Fast food junkies – pay attention. You may need to book a flight to Helsinki for the ultimate on-demand meal. It may be a first in fast food dining: a way to find your bliss along with your burger.

FOX’s Lilian Woo has the story:

It’s no Whopper, a Burger King in downtown Helsinki features a first, an in-store spa complete with saunas, steam rooms and lounge with entertainment center.

The chain’s brand manager in Finland saying the idea was to combine local traditions with serving burgers and that there’s been a lot of good feedback since they opened.

Customers don’t actually eat in the steam bath, they chow down after sweating it out. The price to rent out one of the saunas, not exactly on the value menu. It starts at around $285, meals are extra.
