Investigation Continues over Benghazi Attacks
More than three years after the attack at the U.S. consulate in Libya that killed the U.S. ambassador and three other Americans, the investigation is not over, nor is the political fight.
FOX’s Jon Decker at the White House has the story:
The two top Democrats on the select Benghazi panel say Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy is ignoring statements by his own former lawyer indicating that the U.S. military acted properly on the night of the deadly Benghazi terrorist attacks.
Congressmen Elijah Cummings and Adam Smith say in a letter that Gowdy’s actions, coupled with delays, “have damaged the credibility of the Select Committee beyond repair.”
Republicans say the Obama administration has failed to produce needed documents delaying a final report.
