Garth Brooks Set to Play First Show in New York Since 1997

For the first time in nearly two decades the biggest selling artist of all time will head back to the city.

FOX’s Michelle Pollino reports:

Get ready New York because of nearly a two decade absence Garth Brooks is set to perform for the first time when he takes the stage at Yankee Stadium this summer.

The country star announced that he will play at the venue in the Bronx on July 9. His last performance in NYC was in Central Park in 1997.

Tickets, which start around $80 with fees, go on sale May 20.
