Selfie Stick at Disneyland Stops California Screamin’ Ride
Officials at a major amusement park are not messing around, bring a selfie stick on the grounds and you run the risk of stopping a ride in its tracks.
FOX’s Jessica Rosenthal reports:
Officials at Disneyland say selfie sticks for your phone or camera are so dangerous that they will literally stop a ride in its tracks to come take it away from you. It happened Monday evening.
Officials at Disneyland’s sister park, California Adventure, stopped the California Screamin’ ride, after someone pulled out a selfie stick, which park officials say is dangerous.
And 20 minutes after stopping the ride everyone was escorted off, apparently a selfie stick is considered that much of a threat. The selfie stick ban at Disneyland took effect last year.
