Remains of Mountaineer Alex Lowe & Cameraman David Bridges Found After 16 Years
Found after 16 years, the bodies of two American climbers killed in an avalanche in the Himalayas.

Renowned mountaineer Alex Lowe and cameraman David Bridges were buried in an avalanche in 1999 on an expedition to climb Shishapangma in Tibet, one of the highest mountain in the world.
Now more than 16 years on, it seems their remains have been discovered. Lowe’s widow saying two climbers attempting to ascend the mountain found the remains of two people beginning to emerge from a glacier.
They described the clothing and backpacks on the bodies to a third man who survived the avalanche. Alex Lowe’s widow saying the discovery brings closure and relief.
