He was delayed by protesters, but he got there, the California Republican Convention.

FOX's Jessica Rosenthal reports on Donald Trump's speech:

He didn't talk about the large protest going on outside the Hyatt Hotel in Burlingame, except to say that he had to go under fences to arrive:

(Trump) "I was crossing the border, but I got here."

He gave a pretty typical Trump speech. hitting trade, China, and illegal immigration, but said he had a problem with the way delegates are gathered up and accused rival Ted Cruz of something:

(Cruz) "The only way he can possibly win is if something goes terribly wrong and he goes through the backdoor and he bought all these delegates and I would never use the word bride, I would never use a word like bribe!"

He told the crowd he thinks he'll get the nomination without a contested convention, even if there is not party unity.
