Police in Atlanta Warn People Not to Attempt Taking Selfies with “Flat Creek Floyd” the Alligator
An alligator proving popular for selfies.
FOX’s Rich Denison explains:
Police in suburban Atlanta warning folks not to take a selfie with “Flat Creek Floyd” and urging them not to feed him either. They’re worried Floyd might eat the selfie snapper with his own snap.
You see, “Flat Creek Floyd” is a six-foot alligator. He recently appeared in a creek at Peachtree City, Georgia. While alligator sightings in Georgia aren’t unusual, there hasn’t been one in metro Atlanta for years.
His nearly daily ritual of sunning himself has been the subject of many Facebook and other social media posts, and officials are worried someone might get too close to the gator when he makes his appearance near a bridge on a busy highway.
