100-Year-Old Ida Keeling Vows to Keep Running Until She Can’t Anymore

Just in case you needed some motivation this weekend, a centenarian is going to be running on one of the country’s most prestigious race meets.

    FOX’s Chris Hoenig reports:

Ida Keeling is 100-years-old and will run this weekend in track and field’s Penn relays:

(Keeling) “I feel like I’m over the hill and picking up steam.”

Keeling in a New York Times interview… She’s running the mixed 100-meter dash:

(Keeling) “Sometimes you don’t feel like doing this that or the other, do the thing that you’re going to like to do first and get rid of it.”

Keeling started running at age 67, and set a national record in the 100-meter dash for the 95-to-99-year-old age bracket back in 2014, running it in just under 30 seconds.
