President Obama: North Korea’s Posing ‘Low-Level Threats’
President Obama is talking about North Korea’s nuclear ambitions.
FOX’s Jon Decker has more from the White House:
The President in an interview on ‘CBS This Morning’ described the North Korean regime as “a massive challenge” and erratic.
And while the President said the U.S. could easily destroy North Korea with its arsenals, the focus is on positioning America’s missile defense systems:
(President Obama) “We’re also setting up a shield that can at least block the relatively low-level threats that they’re posing right now.”
The President said his first priority is to protect the American people and our allies in the region including South Korea and Japan.
