Donald Trump’s Even Closer to Clinching Republican Presidential Nomination

It’s looking more and more likely that it will be Trump vs. Clinton in the general election in November.

FOX’s Jon Decker has more from the White House:

After his landslide victory in New York on Tuesday, Donald Trump needs about 390 more delegates to clinch the Republican Presidential nomination.

He hopes to build on that momentum next Tuesday with victories in five East Coast states: Maryland, Delaware, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Pennsylvania. Polls show Trump is leading the field in each state and has a narrow, but real path to 1,237 delegates, the number required to avoid a contested convention.

Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton with her decisive win in her adopted home state is now focusing on the general election. The delegate math is steeply against Bernie Sanders. And polls show him losing in the next five states that vote on Tuesday.
