‘Affluenza Teen’ Ethan Couch Sentenced to Two Years in County Jail
The teen who skated with a light sentence for drunk driving charges close to three years ago, gets some time after breaking his probation.
FOX’s Eben Brown has the story:
Ethan Couch, who as a minor avoided prison for killing four people in a drunk driving wreck in Forth Worth, Texas, in 2013 because his lawyer argued his affluent upbringing didn’t teach him right from wrong, will now actually spend two years in the county jail.
Couch is now 19, and sparked an international manhunt when fleeing to Mexico to avoid getting in trouble for a probation violation. Couch was 16 at the time of the killings, and his blood-alcohol content was three times the legal limit for adult drivers.
