South Carolina Woman Sets Husband on Fire

A South Carolina woman is in jail for what happened to her husband.

FOX’s Dave Anthony reports:

Lashawn Hardy is accused of trying to burn her husband alive:

(Taylor) “It’s, it’s… horrible.”

Union County South Carolina sheriff David Taylor says the couple had some sort of fight on Saturday and when he was asleep. She got some gasoline:

(Taylor) “She went outside and got it and brought it back in and poured it on him.”

Then lit him on fire. Taylor says he woke up rolled around put out the flames then ran to his father’s house:

(Taylor) “He had received second degree burns over the back of his neck and down his back.”

Duane Hardy was taken to a Georgia hospital to treat those burns. Lashawn was taken to jail charged with attempted murder and arson.
