Ted Cruz Continues to Chip Away at Delegate Count

He may not be getting the headline-grabbing wins, but one 2016 presidential candidate is still getting delegates.

FOX’s Tonya J. Powers has details:

Ted Cruz is quietly chipping away at the delegate count, countering Donald Trump’s headline-grabbing wins in big states.

He won six pledged delegates during a pair of obscure congressional-level Colorado GOP assemblies on Saturday.

And he’s also making some gains in other western Republican contests, following a popular vote victory in Wisconsin’s primary.

His team has also been busy in North Dakota, where convention delegates are selected directly by party officials.

Officials say it’s one advantage Cruz has over Trump, insider heavy events at the grassroots level.
