Obama Administration Blames Congressional Leaders for Holding Up Almost $2-Billion Request
The Obama Administration is not pleased with Congress.
FOX’s Eben Brown has the story:
The Obama Administration is blaming congressional leaders for holding up their request for nearly two billion dollars more to counter the spread of Zika virus here in the United States and the territories:
(Donovan) “The American people shouldn’t have to be panicked for Congress to do their job. The administration, this president, we’re doing our job. Congress needs to do their job.”
That’s Shaun Donovan the head of the President’s Office of Management and Budget. The White House is already diverting a little more than a half-a-billion dollars from money once allocated to Ebola response.
