Protests in North Carolina over a controversial move by state legislators.
FOX's Eben Brown has details:
North Carolina's GOP ruled legislature effectively did away with the city of Charlotte's recent ordinance aimed at protecting gay or transgendered people from discrimination. And now LGBTQ rights activists are crying foul.
Matt Hershey is with equality North Carolina:
(Hershey) "It's one thing to strike down one provision in small municipal non-discrimination ordinance. But when you strip from every municipality the ability to protect its citizens, it's a totally different thing."
The legislature is also drawing the ire of big businesses with sizable footprints in North Carolina, from the NBA to American Airlines.
