North Carolina Man Arrested for 14-Year Unreturned ‘Freddie Got Fingered’ VHS
A North Carolina man thought police were joking when they explained the reason for his arrest warrant.
FOX’s Tom Graham tell us they were not:
Imagine being stopped by police for a broken tail light and told you had an arrest warrant out for an unreturned VHS movie rental from 14-years ago:
(Meyers) “And I’m looking around for like cameras like I’m on candid camera or I’m being punked or something and I didn’t believe him.”
That’s what happened to James Meyers of Concord. Police say he never returned the 2001 flop ‘Freddie Got Fingered’ to a now defunct rental store.
The movie garners an 11% score on Rotten Tomatoes. Myers was eventually arrested and now faces a $200 fine.
‘Freddie Got Fingered’ star Tom Green got wind of the charge and told the New York Daily News he’ll pay that fine.

I just saw this and I am struggling to believe it is real. https://t.co/GrTXoUj29X
