Peyton Manning Announces Retirement: ’18 Is a Good Number’
It’s the end of the road for a future Hall of Famer.

Peyton Manning wore number 18 througout his NFL career, which made his longevity all the more significant:
(Manning) ”There’s something about 18 years. 18 is a good number.”
Manning emotionally thanked teammates with the Broncos and the Indianapolis Colts before that and also the fans. But he assured everyone you haven’t seen the last of him:
(Manning) ”The end of my football career is the beginning of something I haven’t even discovered yet. Life is not shrinking for me.”
He finishes with two Super Bowl titles and a record five league MVP’s.
