Mexican President Condemns Donald Trump’s Campaign Building a Wall

Mexico’s president says comments by GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump has damaged relations between his nation and the U.S.

FOX’s Gurnal Scott has the story:

Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto says he condemns Trump’s campaign pledge to build a wall between the two nations as well as Trump’s characterization of Mexican immigrants as criminals and rapists.

In an interview with a Mexican newspaper, Peña Nieto says while the relationship may have suffered due to the Republican frontrunner’s comments, that will not stop Mexico from trying to work with the next U.S. leader, even if it is Trump.

Peña Nieto up to now has avoided directly responding the comments, but says he continues to respect the American political process.
