Eagles of Death Metal Return to Paris to Put on Their Own Concert
Three months after the ISIS attacks on Paris, the American band whose concert was targeted was back on stage in the city last night.
FOX’s Simon Owen reports from the European bureau:
Eagles of Death Metal returning to Paris, performing to a crowd including survivors of the November massacre.
At one point, there was a pause:
(Jesse Hughes) “89 seconds of silence please. Let’s take a moment to remember and we get back to the fun.”
The band expressed sympathy for those too traumatized to attend. But many who did, were pleased they had:
(Fan) “I thought I would not be strong enough to face it, but I did it! I’m really proud of myself.”
