A Company Has Come Up With a Way to Block Robocalls

It’s estimated that American’s get more than 1 billion robo calls a month. Now a company is fighting back.

FOX’s John Saucier has the story:

Even people who are on the federal no call list say they get robocalls. And although it’s against federal law, there’s little enforcement, so they continue, but now a company has come up with a simple, but effective service to block robocalls.

YouMail, a voice mail company detects numbers that dial 100,000 calls an hour. Put those numbers on their own list. And when the robocaller dials people who use you mail’s free service. This is what they get…

That’s the universal tone that says this number is disconnected. YouMail says the robocaller then detects that the number isn’t in service and doesn’t call it again.
