Report: France Preparing to Bring Israelis and Palestinians Together for Peace Talks

    Could peace talks be in the works between Israel and the Palestinians?

    FOX’s Jessica Golloher has the details from Jerusalem:

    France is reportedly preparing to bring Israelis and Palestinians together for an international peace conference.

    Palestinian official Ahmad Majdalani says Paris presented general ideas for the discussions, but no specifics about a plan to revive peace efforts.

    A spokesperson for Israel’s foreign ministry says France’s ambassador to Israel met with a ministry official on Tuesday, but declined to elaborate on the details. Peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians collapsed in 2014.

    Violence between Israelis and Palestinians has surged in recent months, at least 150 people have been killed since mid-September here.
