Filming of the new Star Wars is already underway.

Walt Disney announcing today Episode VIII already started filming at London's Pinewood Studios.
Written and directed by Rian Johnson, the 'Star Wars' sequel following J.J. Abrams box office smash, 'The Force Awakens.' It's set for release December 2017.
Joining returning cast members, Oscar winning Benicio Del Toro, Oscar nominated Laura Dern, and new comer Kelly Marie Tran.
The announcement accompanied by a brief video showing shooting picking up right where 'The Force Awakens' left off.
(Johnson) "Ladies and gentleman, welcome to Episode VIII."
With Johnson directing Mark Hamill, Luke Skywalker, on a remote island off the coast of Ireland.
