Kentucky Lawmaker Proposing Bill That Would Force Men to Swear on Bible Before Using Viagra

A Kentucky state lawmaker is pushing forward a tongue and cheek bill.

FOX’s Tom Graham says it may get a rise out of some men in the state:

It’s a bill that would make it harder for men to gain access to the little blue pill:

(Viagra Commercial) “Isn’t it time you talk to your bout Viagra?”

Under the proposal, those with erectile dysfunction in Kentucky would have to do more than just talk to their doctor. On two separate visits, they would have to swear on a Bible and pledge only to use the pill during marital relations.

Democrat Mary Lou Marzian says her bill is in response to proposals from other state lawmakers pushing for additional hurdles in front of women seeking abortions:

(Marzian) “In the Kentucky General Assembly there at least six or seven anti-choice bills.”

Her measure seems unlikely to become law.
