Director of National Intelligence Warns ISIL Leaders are Ready to ‘Strike’ U.S. Again

    America’s top intel official is out with some stark new warnings about ISIS and other threats against the U.S.

    FOX’s Jill Nado has details from Washington:

    Director of National Intelligence James Clapper warns:

    (Clapper) “ISIL’s leaders are determined to strike at the U.S. homeland.”

    Clapper telling the Senate Armed Service Committee that extremists see the terror attacks in Chattanooga and San Bernardino as successes and others may try to do the same.

    Clapper says North Korea is posing a threat, too, as it works to refurbish its nuclear production facilities and:

    (Clapper) “It is also committed to developing a long range nuclear armed missile that posing a direct threat to the United States.”

    Clapper also testified that Iran remains the top state sponsor of terrorism.
