Ohio Terror Suspect Awaits His Fate
A federal decides Tuesday whether or to revoke bond for an Ohio terror suspect accused of raising money for al-Qaeda.
FOX’s Jeff Monosso reports:
Federal prosecutors are asking a judge in Toledo to revoke the bond for Sultane Room Salim, who’s accused of raising money for former al-Qaeda leader Anwar al-Awlaki to support violence against the U.S. military overseas.
Prosecutors say that Salim has twice violated terms of his release including leaving a Columbus mosque while attending prayer service while on home detention.
U.S. Marshals took Salim into custody Friday. A federal judge in November released him from prison on a $500,000 property bond. Three other Muslim men and alleged co-conspirators also await trial on terror charges.
