Joe Alaskey, Voice of Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and Others, Dead at 63

The voice actor who portrayed Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck and other cartoon characters has died.

You might not know his name but you certainly know his voice.

Joe Alaskey, who voiced Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Tweety and Sylvester the Cat, among so many other legendary cartoon characters, died on Wednesday of cancer.

His spokesperson posted the news on his Facebook, writing, “Never doubt that Joe loved each and every one of you.”

Alaskey also did the voices of Boris Badenovo on Bullwinkle, and Yosemite Sam on “Who framed Roger Rabbit?”

Alaskey was a successor of voice actor Mel Blanc at Warner Brothers. He was 63.
