Federal health officials are noticing a disturbing trend of younger women still drinking while pregnant or possibly pregnant.

FOX's Eben Brown reports:

It has been known for a while that alcohol can impact a baby's development in the womb, but according to the Centers for Disease Control this lesson isn't being well received:

(Dr. Anne Schuchat) "Today's report also found that three in four women, who are looking to get pregnant as soon as possible, are drinking alcohol."

And furthermore, three million females in the U.S., as young as 15 and as old as 44 are drinking and engaging in behaviors leading to pregnancy. Fetal alcohol spectrum disease can impact the baby for life.
