The secret to success: A popular sandwich.

FOX's Chris Hoenig explains:

After the Golden State Warriors won the NBA title last year, they hired trainers and nutritionists to try to make them even better.

The new staffers replaced Gatorade with Himalayan rock salted-water, and banned pizza, soda, candy and cookies from the team plane.

They also tried to remove one other snack, but that's where the team put their foot down:

"Peanut, peanut butter and jelly."

Coach Steve Kerr and general manager Bob Meyers are both apparently fans of the in-flight snack, as well.

The result: The Warriors are (44-4) this year, on pace for the best regular season in NBA history, thanks, at least in part, to:

"Peanut butter, jelly time."
