Hollywood a-lister and Oscar contender Leonardo DiCaprio met Pope Francis at the Vatican Thursday.

FOX's Courtney Walsh has the details:

Pope Francis received a book from Leo DiCaprio of paintings by Hieronymus Bosch.

DiCaprio who has dedicated much of his wealth to an environmental foundation told Francis that he grew up with a picture by Bosch over his childhood bed.

He also explained to the Pontiff that in his child's mind it represented:

(DiCaprio) "Planet, the utopia that we have been given."

Pope Francis shares DiCaprio's concerns about the planet and is the author of the environment-focused encyclical Laudato si' or 'Praise Be.'
