Republican Presidential Candidates Square Off in the Hawkeye State
The stage is set for the FOX News/Google GOP Debate in Des Moines.
FOX’s Jared Halpern reports:
Several Republican candidates are canvassing the Hawkeye state:
(Huckabee) “Nobody’s voted yet, everybody’s got this all figured out. You know, I hear it’s a two man race, it’s now who is going to be third. I’ll tell you what, the people of Iowa will make that decision next Monday. They always do.”
Mike Huckabee won the caucus here eight years ago. He’ll be in the undercard debate, but says he’s happy to take Donald Trump’s center podium.
The GOP front-runner insists he won’t be here, critical of FOX News Channel host and moderator Megyn Kelly.
