Days after a record snowstorm paralyzed the nation's capital, the federal government is once again open for business.
FOX's Jon Decker has more from the White House:
Just a few blocks from the White House, thousands of employees of General Services Administration are back at work after working from home the past two days.
But with the government's liberal leave policy, hundreds of others are working from home today.
Jay Johnson made it to work from Brandywine, Maryland, about 30 miles outside of D.C.
(Johnson) "Should of just been an another day where the government was probably closed because you have it to where some of the roads are still not clear down here."
The city's public schools reopened today and public transportation is now back on regular service.
