FBI Arrests Milwaukee Man Planning Attack a Masonic Temple
A man plotting an attack in Milwaukee has been arrested.
FOX’s Gurnal Scott reports:
Samy Mohamed Hamzeh has been charged with two illegal firearms counts. Federal agents say they were alerted last September to Hamzeh’s plan to attack a Masonic Temple.
Tom Barrett is Milwaukee’s mayor:
(Barrett) “He had shared his confidences with several people who were working with the FBI, recorded a number of these conversations. They were translated I understand into English.”
Agents say Hamzeh’ plan: To kill 30 people to in his words, “defend the Muslim religion.” Milwaukee last dealt with a mass shooting in 2012 when a gunman opened fire in a Sikh Temple killing six.
