RNC Drops Conservative Magazine As Debate Sponsor After Anti-Trump Issue

The Republican National Committee has dropped a conservative magazine as a sponsor of an upcoming presidential debate.

FOX’s Tonya J. Powers has details:

The RNC says the ‘National Review’ is out as a sponsor of next month’s GOP debate after it published an issue devoted to why voters should reject Donald Trump’s presidential campaign.

RNC spokesman Sean Spicer says the move was made because “a debate moderator can’t have a predisposition”.

‘National Review’ publisher Jack Fowler said it’s “a small price to pay for speaking the truth about the Donald”.

As for “The Donald”… He says it’s a dying publication.

(Trump) “It’s circulation is way down. Not very many people read it anymore.”

Recently the RNC announced it had severed ties with NBC as a debate host as well, due to dissatisfaction with the way the network conducted a debate on CNBC in October.
