Listeria Outbreak Stems From Dole Facility In Ohio

A new outbreak of listeria, confirmed by the CDC and already deadly.

    FOX’s Eben Brown reports:

This listeria outbreak is now traced back to packaged salad products that came from a Dole processing facility in Springfield, Ohio.

One death and 12 hospitalizations have since been sourced back to this infected salad. The salads were sold under a variety of brand names. Dole is one of them, but also Fresh Selections, Simple Truth, Marketside, The Little Salad Bar and President’s Choice.

The manufacturing code on the package begins with the letter “A.” The Dole Company has shut the facility down and is pulling products off supermarket shelves.
