Oil Prices Drop to a 13-Year Low

Market watchers observed a roller coaster on Wall Street as the Dow fluctuated wildly from bell to bell.

    FOX’s Gurnal Scott with more:

Energy stocks as well as oil prices drove the selloff that dominated. The Dow finished down 249 points, but with U.S. Crude Oil costs dropping below $27 a barrel. The Dow at one point pushed to a decline of about 565 points.

Oil prices haven’t been this low since mid 2003. The drop comes months after oil sold at more than $100 a barrel last summer.

Stocks did bounce back, but not enough to rescue the other major indexes. The S&P dropped 22 points while the NASDAQ slipped by five.
