Half-a-Million People Still Want Donald Trump Banned in Britain
Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump’s getting jeered in Britain. Parliament is debating a petition to ban him.
FOX’s Simon Owen in London has the story:
Half-a-million people put their names to that petition after Trump proposed banning Muslims from entering the U.S.:
(Flynn) “The first petition has been signed by more people than any other this Parliament.”
Lawmaker Paul Flynn beginning the debate saying this is no attempt to disrespect the U.S., but:
(Trump) “He has done some remarkable things which have caused a great deal of upset.”
Another lawmaker calling Trump a ridiculous individual, but asking what happens if Britain bans him, and he becomes President?
The British government is not expected to introduce a ban.
