NCAA Stripping Coaches Powers of Returning Players to Field After Concussions

College sports take another step in trying to change the attitude towards concussions.

The NCAA is stripping coaches of power to return players to the field after a concussion.

The major sports conferences passing a new rule that gives doctors and trainers the final call on clearing a player after a head injury.

(Krabak) We know that the skelty immature brain up until college years is really sensitive to having concussions. There’s not a specific age, I mean at any age you can get a concussion. Really the key is to recognize it and stop and sit out.”
