Two Men Tied to ISIS Arrested on U.S. Soil
Police have arrested two men accused of having ties to ISIS on U.S. soil.
FOX’s Tonya J. Powers details the charges:
Two men, one from California and one from Texas are accused of supporting ISIS. Aws Mohammed Younis Al-Jayeb lives in Sacramento and is a Syrian refugee, charged with lying to federal investigators.
The second man, Omar Faraj Saeed Al Hardan of Texas, was indicted on three charges he tried to provide material support to ISIS. Al Hardan is the 80th person charged under federal law in an ISIS-related case since April 2013, and the first in 2016.
Federal officials say he lied on his application to become a naturalized citizen when he denied having terror ties or weapons training.
There is no indication either of the men planned any attacks in the U.S.
