United Nations Condemns North Korea Nuclear Test

The United Nations security council issues a strong rebuke of the apparent North Korean test of a hydrogen bomb.

FOX’s Gurnal Scott has the story:

A meeting of the council produced a clear opinion on the North Korean weapons test, as pointed out by UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon…

(Ki-moon) “This test once again violates numerous security council resolutions.”

It is North Korea’s fourth such test… Moon says plans are to explore new sanctions if provocative activity persists…

(Ki-moon) “We’re monitoring and assessing developments in close coordination with the international organizations.”

The White House while questioning a successful test says it is also watching North Korea and has already spoken to Chinese officials about next steps.
