Twitter users may soon get to speak their minds without the 140 character limit.

FOX's Krystin Goodwin reports:

Twitter considering a 10,000 character limit for tweets... The company is currently testing a version of the feature where tweets would show up on your social feed as they do now, but you would be able to expand them to reveal more words.

The hope is to keep the same look and feel on your Twitter timeline while allowing more content. The company currently uses a 10,000 characters in it's messaging feature.

Recode.net is reporting the change could happen within the next few months.
