Body of Missing Country Singer Craig Strickland Found in Oklahoma

Officials in Oklahoma have recovered the body of missing country singer Craig Strickland.

FOX’s Michelle Pollino reports:

The body of missing country singer Craig Strickland has been found. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says its Marine Enforcement Division recovered the body in Kaw Lake, just eight miles South East of the Oklahoma-Kansas state line.

Both Strickland and his friend Chase Morland, were reported missing on Dec. 27 during a duck hunting trip.

Rescuers found the pair’s capsized boat the same day and Morland’s body was recovered from the lake a day later. Strickland’s dog survived the storm.

Strickland was the lead singer of the Arkansas-based country-rock band Backroad Anthem.
