Number of National Park Visits Up in 2015

More Americans visited National Parks this year.

    FOX’s Dave Anthony reports:

A lot of people went to the Grand Canyon this year, and Yellowstone, Yosemite, and Zion… And that has the overall number of visits to National Parks across the country on track to set a record at about 300-million… Seven-million more than last year’s all-time high:

(National Park Service) ”Yeah we’re beautiful…”

The National Park Service expects even more visits in 2016… Celebrating its 100th birthday:

(National Park Service) “We serve as guardians of many of our nations greatest treasures.”

That’s on YouTube, as the Park Service plans to use social media to help Americans better plan their trips, urging people to rediscover scenic wonders, giving free passes to fourth graders and their families.
