Woman Charged in Las Vegas Car Crash Murder

The woman charged with purposely mowing down people on the Las Vegas strip… has tested positive for drugs.

FOX’s Jessica Rosenthal reports:

Lakeisha Holloway is charged with one count of murder with a deadly weapon, child abuse, and leaving the scene of an accident. Aside from one person killed, dozens more were injured when she drove her car onto the strip outside the Paris hotel and casino multiple times.

The Clark County District Attorney says toxicology tests have come back positive for active marijuana as well as marijuana metabolites. Metabolites are the non-psychoactive component.

It’s unclear if Holloway will face additional charges like attempted murder or driving under the influence, but the D.A. said today these drug results do not change the initial charges filed. Holloway’s due back in court January 20.
