Iran Works Out Deal… Moscow Can Move Uranium to Russia
Russia says Iran has complied with a key request in the nuclear deal…
Details from FOX’s Kitty Logan in the European Bureau:
Iran has allowed Moscow to move most of its enriched uranium to Russia, according to an un-named senior Russian diplomat… The deal states Iran has to remove the majority of its stockpile.
The low-enriched uranium is suited to power generation, but can be used for nuclear warheads. The fact that it has been removed indicates Iran is keeping its commitment to the nuclear deal.
Tehran has always insisted it has no interest in using the uranium to make nuclear weapons… If Iran continues to comply and this is verified by the UN, international sanctions are due to be lifted.
