No Charges In Sandra Bland Death

No charges are coming, at least not yet, in the death of a woman in Texas found hanging in her jail cell after a controversial traffic stop.

    FOX’s Gurnal Scott reports:

The grand jury in Waller County says neither the Sheriff’s Department nor jailers watching Sandra Bland’s holding cell will be charged. Bland’s death was ruled a suicide, coming after a confrontational traffic stop. Up to now, Bland’s relatives claim they’ve been excluded from the process but special prosecutor Darrel Jordan says he wants to change that.

(Jordon) ”We’ve asked before to speak with them and we’ll ask again. We’d love to speak with the family.”

The grand jury will reconvene in January to consider charges against the trooper who arrested Bland.
