Trillion Dollar Spending Deal Passed

The trillion dollar budget deal has been passed with more Democrats supporting it than republicans.

FOX’s Jared Halpern has the story:

The trillion dollar spending measure coupled with renewed tax cuts, caps a flourish of bipartisanship to end Speaker Paul Ryan’s first weeks leading the House…

(Ryan) “This has been a busy month for all of us, we have passed more major legislation in a few than we have in a few years.”

Still, more Democrats voted for the spending measure than did Republicans… Conservatives complain about the price-tag and failure to prohibit funding Planned Parenthood and the Syrian refugee process.

Democrats overwhelmingly supported it, despite a provision that ends a decades-old ban on oil exports… It also secures government funding through September.
