Friend of San Bernardino Shooters Is Facing Federal Charges

More details are coming out about the arrest of a longtime friend of one of the San Bernardino terrorists.

FOX’s Tonya J. Powers has the story:

Enrique Marquez Jr. faces federal charges of conspiring with Syed Farook in 2011 and 2012 to commit crimes of terrorism.

He is also charged with the unlawful purchase of two assault rifles used in the San Bernardino shootings that killed 14 earlier this month.

Farook and his wife, Tashfeen Malik, the two responsible for the terrorist attack, died in a shootout afterward with police.

Marquez met Farook in 2005 when he moved in next door to him in California. The FBI says Marquez converted to Islam after being introduced to the religion by Farook and later became radicalized by him.

The two also discussed other possible terror plots, including attacking a college and motorists on a freeway.
