FOX News' Michelle Pollino reports:

'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' is expected to break box office records when it opens this week... Fandango's Harry Medved...

(Medved) "'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' is Fandango's top advanced ticket seller in the 15-year history of the company... It's unprecedented... We've never seen ticket sales like this."

Industry analysts are predicting the film to open to $210-million or more surpassing the current record held by 'Jurassic World' at $208.8-million... Medved says it's currently 90% of ticket sales...

(Medved) "So 84% of the people on Fandango said it's the new female leads that's exciting them."
